As owner, operator, founder, editor, reporter and what-have-you of David & Goliath TV, allow me first to welcome you with open open arms! :D
Somehow, you have managed to land yourself in my little corner of the world wide web. Only God knows how'd that happen! :D
However the case may be, now that you're here, let me tell you a story... the story behind David & Goliath TV.
You see, I was growing increasingly frustrated with the news I kept seeing on TV. It seemed as if bad news was the only news that was worth reporting. Out of maybe 10 reports, only 1 report would be on a story that was uplifting. And this was not happening on just one news channel...it was happening on every channel I could find. I believe I share this experience with countless others all over the world.
I had to really dig deep to find news that was good (to say the least)...stories that contribute towards a positive emotional and mental environment.
And why is that important do you ask?
Because I am what you call a personal development junkie. I am continuously careful of the influences that surrounds and occupies my mind. I absolutely have no love for negative influences that are destructive to my efforts to maintain and improve the right mindset (or worldview if you will) for personal success.
I mean, if you keep seeing and hearing bad news coming to you from all over the world, how long do you think it will be before your mind, whether you like it or not, decides to develop a negative mindset? And with a negative mindset, what do you think are your chances at success (of any kind)?
I believe you know the answer...
By and by, it came to the point where I decided that instead of grouching and complaining about the state of affairs, the only way things can and will change is if I made the change myself.
So that's what I did...
I came up with the idea to set up sort of an online TV channel where visitors (like you) can get their regular dose of positive, uplifting visual news...visual news that motivates and inspires. And the focus is on stories of people who achieved personal successes despite tremendous adversarial challenges...stories that illustrate the power and potential of the human mind & spirit.
Do not get me wrong though... It is not my intention for this site to paint such a perfect picture of the world, so much so that you may become delusional and out of touch from reality.
All I want to do is give you a choice.
Look, there are enough (more than enough, in my opinion) sources of negative news out there. You will definitely receive them whether you like it or not. But when you do want good, positive news, you know where to go. :-)
Hence, the birth of David & Goliath TV!
David & Goliath TV features stories of ordinary human beings who maneuvered through seemingly Goliath-sized challenges to achieve exceptional personal successes. They are our 'Davids'.
They overcame their respective 'Goliaths' by not 'killing' them, but by making their 'Goliaths' assist them in their journey to even greater heights. They are indeed true practitioners of this famous quote from the late, great Napoleon Hill:
"Every adversity brings with it the seed of a greater or equivalent benefit."
The 'Davids' in our stories made their 'Goliaths' serve them instead of just 'killing' them. Hence, the name "David & Goliath TV" instead of "David VS Goliath TV". This was what enabled them to not only achieve personal successes, but tremendous personal successes at that.
All in all, you will definitely not regret finding yourself here.
Why?
Because (and this is a promise), you will find that there is nowhere else in this whole, big world of cyberspace where you can receive such bountiful & awe-inspiring motivation and inspiration from ordinary individuals like you and me.
Yes, individuals just like you and me...
You may not agree with me here. You may be saying, "If they are just like us, then how is it possible for them to achieve such great endeavours?".
Well, they ARE just like us...they have the same fears, the same inhibitions, the same ambitions, the same physical abilities (some even less) and the same wants. The only 'advantage' (if we can call it that) they have is that they possess a success mindset that many of us lack.
However...
This same success mindset CAN be developed...no one is born with it..it can be learnt. And that is the bigger purpose for David & Goliath TV. My sincere hope for you is that from all the stories portrayed here, you can learn and acquire the same success mindset that drives our 'Davids' to greater heights.
Of course, I will provide support as best as I can. For every story, I will point out the exact source of motivation that led to the success mindset responsible for the success portrayed...and...lay out for you the methods and strategies that you can personally use to develop the same success mindset.
I honestly believe that everybody (which includes you by the way) deserves personal success as much as our 'Davids'. And it is up to you to define YOUR 'Personal Success'...

P.S. Even though David & Goliath TV is in the form of a blog right now, my plans for it is BIG. My vision for David & Goliath TV is that it will be a full-fledge online TV channel bringing you motivating and inspiring stories everyday.
I have started it with stories done by others but I do plan to include my own stories. I am actively looking for and approaching potential 'Davids' to do interviews with.
However, I alone cannot cover the whole of this glorious Earth...
